Monte Nido & Affiliates Expands Eating Disorder Treatment with New Location in Portland

Program will expand access to care for adolescents and adults

PORTLAND, Ore. (Nov. 13, 2023) – Monte Nido & Affiliates, one of the leading eating disorder treatment providers in the country, today announces the expansion and re-location of Monte Nido Portland Eating Disorder Day Treatment. The program, minutes away from downtown Portland, provides eating disorder treatment for adolescents and adults of all genders.

Through a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), adults and adolescents of all genders participate in group and individual therapy, benefit from Monte Nido Portland’s clinical, medical, psychiatric and nutritional expertise and experience real-life challenges. Monte Nido Portland treats people with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, and other eating disorders.

This groundbreaking strategy is supported by recent research, which indicates that individuals who underwent this comprehensive clinical approach demonstrated significant improvement and maintained these improvements for six months after their discharge.

Monte Nido Portland is one of five Monte Nido & Affiliates programs in the state of Oregon, complementing the day treatment program in Eugene and residential programs in Springfield, West Linn (adults) and West Linn (adolescents).
